About puck wall fixtures Puck wall is a relatively new system. This
new material allows flexible merchandising on both the walls and on
floor fixtures by using easy to change hardware display components. The finished wall creates an architectural element of
interest that recessed standards or slat walls cannot provide. This design is part of the benefit
of puck wall fixtures. The downside of the puck wall system is that the
cost is more significant than it is for most other systems. The cost
does depend on the panel material selected and the specific placement of
the pucks. The panels are designed to attach
to walls by using either screws or cleats. The pucks on the walls are
silver, machine milled one inch or one and one-quarter inch diameter
metal pucks. The pucks are screwed into predetermined locations on the
panels. They are typically set at six inch, eight inch or twelve inch
centers to optimize flexibility. If you plan to purchase your
displays in small quantities, you should be aware that pricing for puck
hardware is much higher than for either slat wall or grid wall displays.
You should be specific with your
needs when preparing to order your units. Suppliers may be able to
provide assistance with both design and pricing.
