About graphical LED displays There are now available, graphical LED displays that use state-of-the-art technology to transmit high-resolution video and graphics. You can generally connect just
about any type of data feed to these displays, which are seen in some of
the world’s great cities.
You can find these displays in one, two, or multiple line models, with variable color LEDs. The most common colors for these displays are primaries, such as red, green, and yellow, or combinations of the three. You can sometimes find LED displays that have white and blue LEDs. White, interestingly enough has proved to be the hardest color to replicate. LED, which means light-emitting diode is a cold-light technology, meaning that it doesn’t produce heat as a waste byproduct. Unlike incandescent lighting, LEDs
use all of the electricity they use to produce light energy, making them
one of the most efficient forms of lighting around today. |
