About stick candy displays

Who can resist the allure of a well-chosen selection of old fashioned stick candy?

You can display as few as a half a dozen flavors at the cash register of your café, or you can display a dozen kegs at the local farmer’s market, and you will notice people flocking to see the selection. You can make your customer’s day by offering a variety of colorful and tasty stick candy in an attractive display.

One trick for maximizing stick candy sales is to display multiple flavors in their own jars. If many flavors are mixed together in one container, chances are, your customers will choose only one. If, however, you display the flavors in separate jars, the customer will, most likely pick two or three flavors.

When all of the flavors that are offered are on display, the customer is more likely to remember that he or she enjoys butterscotch, cinnamon, and horehound, in addition to chocolate and lime. Stick candy displays very well in kegs or crates, if they are kept below eye level. The best way to display candy though, if space allows, is to have the candy in glass jars, arraigned at eye level. Let the sheer variety of color work to your advantage.

Stick candy is difficult, if not impossible to display in gravity bins. The long, skinny shape of the stick candy does not travel smoothly through the dispenser. In addition, the candy will have to be individually wrapped to ensure that the pieces do not stick together.

You should display stick candy separately from bagged candy.
